The practice of Forest Bathing comes from the traditional practice of Shinrin-yoku which originiated in Japan and is the conscious and contemplative practice of being immersed in the forest. Research has shown a wide variety of health benefits to this practice.

What is a forest therapy session?
A forest therapy session would involve:
- A short introduction to forest therapy and how it may improve overall wellbeing
- A 40 minute walk along garden paths or forest trails with various calming exercises (Location to be determined at time of scheduling).
- Limited to ten participants at a time
Who can participate?
Anyone can!* Populations that can especially benefit from horticultural therapy include: elderly, people living with developmental disabilities, veterans, people receiving assistance from rehab centers, caregivers, people who have been through trauma, and anyone that may need to reconnect with nature. (*Forest Therapy participants must be able to walk for the duration of the session and on trails).
